This summer, there is a risk for serious water shortages for the Wellington Water bulk network covering Wellington, Porirua, Lower Hutt and Upper Hutt City Council areas.

Tighter water restrictions could mean bans on all outdoor water use, reducing indoor water use by up to 50%, and the potential for disruptions to water supply.
